Neighbors shouldn’t be surprised if they see the rapper Polo G “pop out” of a stately Mediterranean mansion in the San Fernando Valley city of Chatsworth, CA.
The artist—whose real name is Taurus Tremani Bartlett—recently shelled out $4,885,000 for a brand-new estate.
Polo G also managed to score an excellent deal on the property. It initially landed on the market way back in October 2018 for $6.2 million, a figure that was steadily sliced over the past three years. In December 2020, the price dropped to $5 million—a number that must have enticed the rapper to step up and make an offer.
Finished in 2018, the mansion offers plenty of room for the 22-year-old rapper to spread out. There are six bedrooms and eight bathrooms in the 10,825-square-foot residence, which sits on a 1.75-acre parcel.
The mansion is appointed with classic luxuries. Its impressive entryway features a dramatic staircase with ornate iron railings, as well as elegant, custom porcelain flooring.
Just off the foyer, you’ll find a high-ceilinged living room with French doors and a custom-built bar area with a dedicated wine closet.
Farther into the home is a massive great room with family and dining areas. It flows into a huge chef’s kitchen, which features a large center island with breakfast bar seating, stainless-steel Viking appliances, custom cabinetry, and granite counters.
For down time, there’s also a game room on the main floor. When it’s time to get down to business, there’s an office as well.
The majority of the bedrooms are found upstairs. They include a spacious primary suite in a turretlike structure with an abundance of arched windows, a balcony overlooking the grounds, and a bathroom that’s equally grand in scale.
Outside are generous covered patios, a pool and spa, plus a fully lighted tennis court.
The rhymer will be in good company in his new neighborhood. Rappers including DJ Mustard, Swae Lee, and YG all call the area home.
Parts of Chatsworth, like the gated Indian Hills neighborhood, where this home is located, are known for glittery and glamorous mansions that are engagingly priced for the Los Angeles metro.
Polo G began his recording career in 2018, and posted his first hit, “O.D.A,” on YouTube that year. Since then, he’s had hit singles like “Pop Out,” “Finer Things,” and “Rapstar.” He’s released three albums and has been credited with over a billion streams of his songs on Spotify.
Emil Hartoonian, Bryan Castaneda, and Andrew Mortaza of The Agency represented the seller, and Daniel Dill of WEA represented Bartlett.
